Dank dieser mutigen Menschen sind am Sonntag Hilfsgüter aus unserer Gemeinde Zetel/Friesland in der Partnerstadt Starokonstantinow in der Ukraine angekommen. Am Freitag wurden Medikamente und Wolldecken in Zetel verladen. Nach 24 h Fahrt und 1.300 km konnten die Waren in der Ukraine direkt hinter der polnischen Grenze von Speditionsunternehmer Hans-Günther Tönjes und Offizier der Reserve Gerhard Rusch übergeben werden. Von dort gingen sie an Gesundheitseinrichtungen der Stadt Starokonstantinow. Dank der Unterstützung zweier großzügiger Spender war es möglich 150 Wolldecken mitzuschicken. Hoffentlich spenden die Decken den verwundeten und kranken Menschen in Starokontantinow/Ukraine etwas Wärme und Trost!
Thanks to these brave people, aid supplies from our community Zetel/Friesland arrived yesterday in the partner city Starokonstantinow in Ukraine. On Friday medicine and wool blankets were loaded in Zetel. After 24 hours and 1,300 km of driving the goods could be handed over in Ukraine directly behind the Polish border by shipping company owner Hans-Günther Tönjes and officer of the reserve Gerhard Rusch. From there all aid items went to health facilities in the city of Starokonstantinow. Thanks to the support of two generous donors, it was possible to send 150 wool blankets. Hopefully the wool blankets can give some warmth and comfort to wounded and sick people in Starokonstantinov/Ukraine.
